The foundation of AU is deeply personal. My vision for AU was shaped by my own roots where I grew up in a family of proud HBCU supporters and graduates. Those spaces taught me that education isn’t just about academics — it’s about family, culture, legacy, and transformation.
I experienced that same spirit firsthand when I attended an HBCU. Even though finances led me to continue my studies elsewhere, the pride, sisterhood, and sense of belonging I found there, stayed with me.
That’s what Attachment University represents — the heart, culture, and family of an HBCU blended with the science of emotional healing. AU isn’t just a name. It’s a movement.
A School for the Heart, built to teach what many of us were never taught — how to love, live, and lead securely.
That's why the AU motto is..."It's all about you". Because it truly is.
Attachment University was born out of a simple yet powerful truth!
They Taught Us Everything—Except How to Love
I’m Dr. Saudia, a marriage and family therapist turned Attachment Coach — and now, the Dean of Emotional Education at Attachment University: The HBCU for the Heart.
In my private practice, I kept seeing the same pain repeat itself — women feeling unseen or emotionally neglected, and believing love had passed them by. I realized the problem wasn’t that women didn’t want love or weren't good at it… it’s that many were never taught how to love from a secure place.
I realized that therapy alone wasn’t enough. So, I launched the Eros Meets Agape podcast—a space where I could teach about mental and emotional wellness in a way that truly connected. But as the conversations grew deeper, I recognized something was still missing: a structured way to help people learn love—how to heal their hearts, build secure connections, and lead with emotional confidence. That’s when Attachment University (AU) was born, inspired by the podcast’s final episode, “Attachment University,” where I guided a guest from being single and unfulfilled to finding love and marriage—by first learning to love from the inside out.

Every track — whether you’re healing, married, single, or leading — is a pathway to mastering connection by mastering emotion and learning to love from the inside out. AU was built to help women and couples unlearn insecure patterns, rebuild emotional resilience, and master the art of secure connection, healthy emotional expression and to lead from a place of emotional balance.
